The Copperhead™ Hotend System from Slice Engineering is a low-cost, open-source hotend option that can handle the heat — heat creep, that is. Replace your factory model hotend with the Copperhead™, to upgrade your 3D printer’s performance and reduce jamming, giving you a smooth print every time. The Slice Engineering Copperhead Bimetallic Heat Break conducts and diffuses heat efficiently while the Copperhead Universal Hot Block is constructed from nickel-plated copper alloy to enhance 3D printing precision to give you the best results possible from your 3D printer. The Slice Engineering Bimetallic Heat Break and Universal Hot Block are the main components in all configurations of Slice Engineering’s Copperhead Hotend System, and several variants are available to unlock major upgrade potential for a variety of existing 3D printer setups. The Standard variant of the Bimetallic Heat Break is required to attach the optional Copperhead Heat Sink, which can provide a new level of heat control and precision to your existing 3D printer hotend by offering features like an adjustable Z-height, Groove mount or Screw mount options, high temperature capabilities, and improved noise reduction.
