The dampers do not affect the positioning of the pully. The damper sits flush on the motor and shouldn't really cause too much additional movement.

Yes. The Lulzbot Mini has enough room for them on all 3 axes.

These dampers do not come preinstalled on any printers that we sell, however they will work on just about any machine that uses NEMA 17 stepper motors.

Yes they will work on a Makergear M2, you only need two though. One one the X axis and one on the Y axis. Installation is easy and only takes about 15 minutes. It makes a huge difference in the noise level of the machine. I got mine from another source for much cheaper, do a search for nema 17 dampers online and I am sure you can source some for about $10-15 for a pair.

Yes. You will only be able to use two bolts for mounting the EZStruder to the motor, though.

Got cut off. I was going to ask how to mount it but I figured it out, also support was quite helpful over email. Great addition to my taz 4. The loudest thing on it now is the fan on the electronics. Would recommend to any taz owners. Only thing I would change is maybe adding 8 M3 x 6 screws with washers for mounting the stepper to the dampers. Assembled simple but remember to move the z axis coupler down just a smidge along with moving the belt pulleys out to compensate for the increased distance of the damper. It took me a bit to figure out the popping noise coming from the printer is moisture in the PLA popping. It is now quiet enough to hear it like a loud crack. This should be standard on any printer you build.

These noise dampers are well worh the price. I did the X and Y axis only on my TAZ 5. The print quality and noise reduction is amazing!

Once I added these you could barely tell the printer was printing!
Im estimating about 80% reduction in the high pitch servo noise!
