* If attaching the Bambu Lab AMS unit to the Bambu Lab P1S 3D Printer, add 2.5kg (5.5bs) to the weight.
1 The printer can print third-party filaments, however not all spools from third-party filaments are compatible with the Bambu Lab AMS unit. Limitations may be due to outer dimensions of the filament spool or spool material compatibility (specifically cardboard spools are not compatible). Check out the Hydra AMS spool adapter to expand third-party spool compatibility.
2 Bambu Lab P1S is capable of 3D printing PA and PC, but it is not ideal. To print these polymers, please check out the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon or Bambu Lab X1E 3D printer instead.
FAQ
What is the difference between the Bambu Lab P1S and Bambu Lab P1P?
The Bambu P1S offers a fully enclosed printing chamber, air filter, and a more powerful cooling solution than the Bambu P1P. The P1S includes an Auxiliary Part Cooling Fan for cooling prints, a Chamber Regulator Fan to stabilize the inner chamber temperature, and a Control Board Fan to assist in cooling the control board. It also comes equipped with an activated carbon filter to provide a solution for printing filaments such as ABS that are prone to emitting odors and harmful gases during the printing process.
What is the difference between the Bambu Lab P1S and Bambu Lab X1C?
The Bambu P1S is not recommended to directly print fiber-reinforced filaments such as glass fiber or carbon fiber, before an extruder and hotend upgrade is done. The Bambu X1-Carbon comes pre-installed with Hardened Steel accessories and is equipped with Micro lidar for advanced AI detection functions. X1C also offers more convenient and efficient screen interaction.
What is the difference between the Bambu Lab P1S and Bambu Lab X1E?
The Bambu X1E exceeds at printing with temperature-sensitive and composite materials. In addition to the features X1C has that P1S doesn't, the X1E comes equipped with network control to meet strict project (or personal) privacy preferences.
