Printing Tips
- Drying filament ensures consistent print quality. Find filament dryers here.
- In a blast drying oven: 80°C for 8 - 12 hrs.
- On an X1 printer's heatbed: 90 - 100°C for 12 hrs.
- PAHT-CF requires high thermal insulation during printing, making it unfit for open-frame printers. An enclosed printer helps ensure strong bed adhesion and improve print quality by maintaining consistent temperatures.
- Printing with a hardened steel nozzle is recommended to ensure long-term nozzle durability and consistent extrusion quality due to the abrasive nature of carbon fiber.
- For models printed with supports, it is recommended to remove the support structures within 2 hours of printing to avoid sticking caused by moisture absorption. If needed, dry the model to ease removal.
