Bambu Lab Red PRO Series Nylon Filament - 2.85mm (0.75kg)

I've been running this filament in my AMS for every print and it works fine, no idea what these two are talking about. Yes the spool is narrow compared to most others but the rollers in my AMS are long enough to catch both sides easily.

I agree, this is an issue with the PRO Series spool when used on the Bambu AMS. I would like to see this fixed along with better packaging to avoid the day long delay of drying.

It is a copolymer mix of PA 6 and 66.

Put it in an oven below the glass transition temperature for 6-8hrs. It's best to use a food dehydrator or filament drying oven.

75C for 12 hours in a Print Dry Pro works for me.

Yes. I’ve used Nylon 910 a lot and this is a good replacement with some pros and cons. The print quality is much more beautiful than nylon 910 and it can be printed at a lower temperature but i find that it does tend to curl and warp slightly more than 910.

I have tried using NylonG for the first few layers, then switching to just Pro Nylon. It helped with warping very much.

Use 2-3 fresh heavy layers of Magigoo PA on a thick piece of glass with a bed temp of 70C, no cooling fan. I have a large format printer making very large parts and Magigoo on glass is the only thing that works.

Garolite bed...60 degrees...light but thorough coat of glue stick (mostly for print removal)...works perfectly every time for me.

Looking at the MSDS and price it would appear to be PA12.

I would respectfully disagree. When I print with the pro series nylon I get more of a satin finish. It's not as glossy as something like PETG or PLA, but also not totally matte.

Non-composite Nylon is shiny when you have to correct temperature.

It’s definitely a matte finish which tends to hide imperfections better than something like Nylon 910 which is much more glossy.

They will eventually absorb water. You can bake out the moisture in an oven, but the food dehydrators are safer/ more accurate.

The best desiccants are actually made for gun safes!

buy the sunlu filament dryers their relatively cheap and work great!

If dried first and then stored a sealed chamber, it will stay dry.
