Step-by-Step Video Assembly
Step-by-Step Assembly Instructions
For safety, please ensure the nozzle temperature has cooled to below 50°C and the power to the 3D printer is turned off.
- Remove the front housing assembly by disconnecting the fan connector.
- Disconnect the hot-end fan and heater connectors, then slide the wires out of the clip.
- Use a 2mm hex key to remove the two screws, but leave the hotend assembly in place.
- Cut the filament using the cutter lever and gently pull down to remove the hotend assembly.
- Remove the heatsink fan by loosening its screws, and install it onto the new Panda Revo.
- Position the cable in the guide channel with the heater core socks' flat face parallel to the heatsink.
- Reattach the fan to the heatsink using the screws.
- Insert the Panda Revo hotend assembly into the extruder and tighten the screws.
- Tuck the wires back into the clip.
- Reconnect the heater and hot-end fan connectors to their respective slots on the board.
- Reconnect the fan connector and close the front housing assembly cover.
To verify proper installation:
- Power on the printer and run the calibration process.
- Successful calibration indicates proper installation.
- Adjust filament settings by clicking the edit icon.
- Adjust the maximum volumetric speed to 35-40, based on your filament type.
- If under-extrusion occurs, lower the speed until print quality improves.
