The two most important features of any ASA are UV Stability and high-temperature resistance. These two attributes make ASA an ideal choice for printed parts that will be used in applications that require long-term exposure to outdoor conditions.
Similar to ABS filament, ASA is prone to warping when compared to PLA or PETG filaments. ColorFabb recommends that active cooling is kept to a minimum during the extrusion process to ensure optimal layer adhesion and reduce any potential warping.

Hello, I purchased this filament when it was discounted and It has printed beautifully, but the layer adhesion is very bad. The layers delaminate even when I apply a small amount of force to it. I've tried printing as slow as 10mm/s and at my printers max temp of 275c, but nothing seems to solve the adhesion problem. The filament is properly dried and I'm using a .6mm nozzle, but the problem remains. On amazon, there were occasional reviews where people had similar results to me. Many said that (on the black filament) there was a purple hue to it. Is it possible that this filament is faulty?
@Julien Mott It may be, but many times delamination is a result of low bed temperature. If you have tried increasing your bed temperature with no success, then reach out to support@matterhackers.com for disposition.
