Questions
How susceptible is it to rust? Particularly in the non-sintered state?
I run a 3D Print Farm at Lowell Makes. It is a nonprofit Makers Space located in Lowell, MA. We are looking to setup a 3D Printer for the Electronics Shop that prints Ferromagnetic material. I see there are Iron Filled PLA. That is great for the models that looks like metal. The filament might act like a ferrite material but not as well as filament designed to print Ferrite Cores. Do you have filaments designed to print Ferrite Cores? If so please list. If not would you be willing to help find such material?
High Carbon Iron Filamet will make good electromagnetic devices. Effective and affordable for most applications in this category. The Virtual Foundry will be releasing a FerroSilicon material in the future.
