Questions
Has anyone used this on the Lulzbot TAZ6 (with Cura Lulzbot edition version 3.2.32), and if so what are your settings? Lulzbot stopped carrying this filament and only has a profile for it in the older verison (v21.08). I've looked up those setting and am attempting to make a first test print today a custom profile. Also, that older (v21.08) profile only has the High Speed (0.38mm) layer height. I'd like to be able to print at finer detail. Any experience and feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!
To whom it may concern, I am Wan Kyn Chan from Purdue University and a research assistant with the Programmable Structures Lab. Currently, my team and I are looking into 4D printing potential with wood based filaments of 2.85mm diameter and want to inquire if it is possible to obtain samples for testing. Due to the tight timeline that we are dealing with, I greatly appreciate it if I were able to here back from you as soon as possible. What is the density of this filament?
Can I use wood filament in 3d printing pens if it heats up to 250 degrees?
Can I use this filament to make 1inch long charms, that are 3mm thick? And if not, what should I use? -I just ordered a Creality3D Ender-3 3D Printer Economic Ender, and would be using it on that. Please help! Newbie here!
@Stephanie This material may be printed by an Ender 3, but the material is abrasive and will wear a standard brass nozzle. Use a coated or steel nozzle for abrasive prints, such as a CleanTip Stainless Steel Nozzle - 1.75mm x 0.40mm or an E3D v6 Extra Nozzle - Hardened Steel - 1.75mm x 0.40mm.
