Hardware components for Voron 0.2 Kits

USE GENUINE, TOP-QUALITY COMPONENTS

Sourcing reliable, quality 3D printer components for your Voron 0.2 doesn't have to be a long, rigorous treasure hunt. LDO conveniently manufactures their own quality printer components and sources from other 3D printer accessory industry-leaders to bring you a professionally packaged 3D printer kit that offers most of the essential parts needed to build your DIY reliable workhorse. Genuine, quality parts you can find in this kit include:

  • E3D Revo Voron hotend with brass Revo Nozzles
  • Genuine Bondtech Dual-Drive Gears
  • BigTreeTech SKR Pico
  • Hiwin Linear Rails
  • and more!

PRINT QUALITY AS SMOOTH AS ITS LINEAR RAILS

Smooth, sturdy linear rails are a must to handle the incredibly fast speeds of the Voron 0.2. With virtually no slack along the bearing traces you can trust that your V0.2R1 will be moving smooth without the slightest wiggle for satisfying print results.

  • One HIWIN linear rail for the X axis, for truly stable prints
  • Six stainless steel rails for the Y & Z axis to prevent rust and corrosion
  • Custom machined bars slide into the aluminum extrusion to easily mount the linear rails

ENCLOSED BY DESIGN

Thanks to its aluminum extrusion construction, V0.2R1 panels are easily mounted around the frame to lock in the chamber temperature, passively heated by the heated bed. To fully contain the build volume, drop the top hat into place and bolt it on for a semi-permanent installation.

  • Clear acrylic panels trap heat and give a clear view into the printer
  • Print temperature-sensitive materials like ABS successfully
  • Open the enclosure quickly & easily when switching between temperature-sensitive filaments
    • TopHat attaches via a hinge with cam locks to lock it in place when closed
    • Hinged front door secures with a magnetic latch

POWERFUL COMPUTING, QUIET OPERATION

Voron 3D printers are intentionally designed to use Klipper firmware. All the hard computing is handled by a Raspberry Pi which talks to the BigTreeTech SKR Pico mainboard to execute the commands. Silent TMC2209 stepper drivers keep the V0.2's motion precise and quieter than your average 3D printer.

  • Klipper firmware for powerful computing and expansive configuration options
  • TMC2209 stepper drivers' StealthChop2 and Stallguard modes provide options between noise and torque.
  • RP2040 microcontroller minimizes wiring and reduces mainboard port use.
  • LDO kits come with a Picobilical PCB Kit to optionally modify your configuration so you can make wiring and reduced mainboard port use even more streamlined

PREP FOR SUCCESS

Since 3D printer kits are not ready-to-go machines, it's important to prepare yourself for the DIY build process. Our MatterHackers PRO took roughly 10 hours from unboxing to first print (not including the time for printing all the components that hold the frame together). Tips to keep in mind:

  • Produce printer parts in ABS or ASA (if printing)
    • This prevents any distortion to the 3D printer when the chamber reaches its max temp.
  • Follow LDO's Printed Parts Guide
    • The kit includes metal thumbscrews for the bed, but the 3D printed parts folders include printed variants you won't need.
  • Read the manual thoroughly!
    • While very well documented, some parts can be easy to miss if you aren't paying attention. Follow along carefully or you might need to disassemble the printer to get parts to fit.

What supported options are there for printing with soluble support - that isn't PLA + PVA? My print jobs tend to be functional engineering models. PLA is too brittle and temperature sensitive for this. I need a soluble support solution for materials like PETG, ASA, Nylon & PC.

Does the enterprise bundle come with the normal Bambu bundled filaments and spools. I believe it’s a sample of their support filament and a couple others that come with the AMS combo. Plus you’re adding in the bud plate, extra nozzle and three rolls of PLA?

Hello, I am looking at a purchase of either a Bambu lab X1C or X1E. Can you give me a definitive answer please; Can the X1C connect to a LAN and not have to use a memory card or Bambu Cloud service? The reason I ask is because on Bambu website it says about the X1C, " we support SD card and local network to print the projects", but on your page it say No LAN for the X1C. What is a "Kill Switch" please? You have it listed for the X1E. Thank you

I am interested in purchasing this printer for my company. I work in an area that does not allow the use of bluetooth or wifi. Do you know if those modules can be disabled on this printer? If so, can it still function through ethernet or USB? Thank you,

Do these bundles include the Engineering Plate? The versions available off the Bambu website seem to have 2 build plates included (Cool Plate and Engineering/Hot Plate). I'm somewhat confused by the apparent differences.

Since the engineering and professional bundles include nylonx, which build surface is used to print that material/does the bundle include the build surface needed to print that material? Reading the description of nylonx: it requires garolite or glass?
