Liqcreate Elastomer-X
Ultra-Soft and Flexible Resin for Industrial 3D Printing
Liqcreate Elastomer-X is a clear photopolymer resin designed for use with most resin-based 3D printers, including open DLP, LCD, MSLA, and SLA printers within the 385-420 nm range. This resin produces exceptionally soft and flexible 3D-printed parts with a Shore A hardness of 43, making it an excellent choice for applications that mimic soft TPU and silicone, such as digital lattice foams, soft end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) for robots, grommets, bellows, and other elastic industrial components. The material's versatility allows it to be used as is or colored with almost any commercially available 3D resin colorant, providing a high degree of customization for specific industrial needs.
Key Features of the Liqcreate Elastomer-X:
- Ultra-Soft Flexibility: Shore A hardness of 43 with elongation up to 180%.
- Versatile Compatibility: Suitable for open DLP, LCD, MSLA, and SLA 3D printers (385-420 nm range).
- Mimics TPU and Silicone: Ideal for producing flexible and elastic parts for industrial applications.
- Customizable Appearance: Can be used clear or colored with various 3D resin colorants.
- High Temperature Resistance: Withstands temperatures up to 250°C (482°F) without cracking.
MAIN FEATURES:
3D-printed parts made using Elastomer-X are exceptionally soft with a Shore A of 43 and has great flexibility. Its properties simulate soft TPU and silicone which makes it perfect for the production of digital lattice foams, soft end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) for robots, grommets, bellows, and elastic industrial parts.
- Excellent elongation
- High elasticity
- Exceptionally soft material
- Ability to color/dye before printing
HOW TO USE:
- Shake the bottle for at least 60 seconds before use.
- Allow the resin to rest for 10 minutes after shaking to let air bubbles escape before pouring into resin vat.
Note: This resin can be poured back into the bottle after use, however, it is important to check for residual pieces of polymer before doing so. Always take protective measures when handling Liqcreate resins. For more details on safety please check the attached Safety Data Sheet.
