BASF Ultrafuse 316L Metal 3D Printing Filament is an industrial material designed for digital fabrication on virtually any desktop 3D printer. When debound and sintered, users are left with a 3D printed part made of nearly 100% solid 316 stainless steel.

Successfully producing parts with this material will require quite a bit more experience and fine-tuning compared to other filaments which is where Magigoo Pro Metal for BASF Ultrafuse 316L comes into play. Designed to provide reliable first-layer adhesion and enable the easy removal of 3D printed BASF Ultrafuse 316L parts, Magigoo helps to minimize the warping effect caused by printing at insufficient bed temperatures.

RECOMMENDED USE:

Magigoo Pro Metal for BASF Ultrafuse 316L is recommended to be used on a build-plate in the temperature range of 95 -105°C.

HOW TO USE:

  • Shake the bottle.
  • Apply to the desired area by pressing the end on the print-bed (activating the inner valve) and apply as needed.
  • Print according to the filament/printer manufacturers recommendations
  • Post-printing: Submerse the whole build plate in water or soak around the part with water. After a short period of time — generally 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the size of the part—the part should come off on its own or be easy to remove with a gentle twist.
  • Clean any residue using a damp cloth.
