WHY CHOSE MAGIGOO PRO PP?

Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic semi-crystalline polymer exhibiting properties of good impact resistance and ductility. It also has a relatively non-polar molecular structure which makes it chemical resistant and thus ideal for use in food packaging and medical equipment. It is in fact well known in the adhesive industry that it is difficult to adhere polyolefin materials to other types of materials. This combined by the partial crystallinity makes it an especially hard material to print with.

Magigoo PP solves this issue and provides additional convenience for use in FDM 3D Printing.

HOW DOES MAGIGOO WORK?

Magigoo PP works with Polypropylene type filament. The adhesive makes sure prints stick firmly when the print-bed is hot and then releases as soon as it cools down. This unique and innovative mechanism means that no tools are needed to remove prints from the bed. They just pop off when the bed cools down.

HOW SHOULD I STORE MAGIGOO?

Magigoo is best stored upright, with the cap closed and away from direct sunlight. Magigoo was specifically designed for mobility, which is good news if you want to take it with you on the go.

WHAT ARE THE RECOMMENDED PRINT SETTINGS FOR MAGIGOO PRO PP?

Magigoo PP has been designed and tested to work with different PP filament brands. As the composition of each plastic is a little different, the ideal settings for Magigoo PP may vary. Here are the recommended temperature ranges for effective application.

Settings and Recommendations:

• Bed and nozzle temperature: follow filament manufacturer recommendation
• Brim: a 20 mm multiple-layer brim might be needed for larger prints or when warping occurs.
