QCW Frame (Beneath Version) |
|
Provides a solid base for your Onefinity. Wasteboards can be attached from below the frame. This does NOT come with a wasteboard. This is the easiest and cheapest to set up between the Beneath and Above versions. Please watch this installation video to determine if you are comfortable with this setup before purchasing. Note the first half of this video is what the initial setup will be like. Replacing the wasteboard after you have the machine attached to the frame will follow the second half of the video's installation tutorial. You may be able to avoid the lifting required when the machine is attached with the Fixed Stand since the bottom of the frame is accessible with this setup. |
|
QCW Frame (Above Version) |
|
Provides a solid base for your Onefinity. Wasteboards can be attached from above the frame. This does NOT come with a wasteboard. This is the more complex and expensive set up between the Beneath and Above versions. Please watch this installation video to determine if you are comfortable with this setup before purchasing. Note the perk of the Above version is that it does not require as much lifting of the machine when attaching/ replacing wasteboard slats as the Beneath version since installing from above is more accessible. However, the complexity of having to drill precise holes every time you install a slat may not be worth that convenience to you. |
|
QCW Fixed Stand (Beneath Version) |
|
Provides a solid base for your Onefinity. Wasteboards can be attached from below the frame. No table is required as the included legs allow this to be freestanding. Freely fit items under the machine. This does NOT come with a wasteboard. See the QCW Frame accessories to understand the differences between the Beaneth and Above versions. |

FAQ
Do any of the Onefinity PRO Series machines include a wasteboard and frame to attach the wasteboard?
No, these are two separate purchases.
What waste board do you recommend purchasing?
Onefinity recommends 3/4'" MDF. The size will depend on the machine you purchased and your setup.
Do you sell wasteboards?
No. Please source a wasteboard from your local retailer such as Lowes, Home Depot, etc.
Where can I buy a frame to attach the wasteboard?
Onefinity sells a variety of frames to attach your wasteboards. See the Accessories section for options.
Can I use the Onefinity Wall Mount System to hang up the Onefinity Foreman PRO?
No, the Onefinity Foreman PRO is too heavy to safely and successfully operate/hang this machine. If you want the convenience of this Wall Mount System, consider the Woodworker PRO or Journeyman PRO instead.
Can I use the Onefinity Rolling-Folding Stand Leg Kit with the Onefinity Foreman PRO?
No, the Onefinity Foreman PRO is too heavy to safely utilize the unfolding method with the kit. If you want the convenience of this Rolling-Folding kit, consider the Woodworker PRO or Journeyman PRO instead.
Do any of the Onefinity PRO Series machines include a router?
No, that is a separate purchase.
What router can I use with the Onefinity PRO Series machines?
The configuration MatterHackers has available is the 65mm spindle mount, which is compatible with the Makita 1-1/4 HP Compact Router (model RT0701C).
Can I use an 80mm Spindle with the Onefinity PRO Series machines?
The optional 80mm Spindle Mount (separate purchase) is required to use an 80mm Spindle (self-source).
Is there anything I should know about using an 80mm Spindle on a Onefinity PRO Series machine?
A "Spiffy" (3rd X-Rail) is HIGHLY recommended if using an 80mm Spindle. Contact support@matterhackers.com if interested.
- A "spiffy" is highly recommended with an 80mm Spindle for a higher guarantee of success with the CNC machine. Due to the weight of 80mm Spindles, there is the possibility that the Z-Axis may drop when powering down or using the Emergency Stop. This may be amplified when adding a Spindle Mounted Dust Shoe.
Should I get the Makita router or a dedicated spindle?
The Makita Router is strongly recommended if the cost and/or complexity of setting up a VFD spindle is not within your capabilities.
Is support offered for spindles?
Support is not offered for Spindles. You will need to get support from the Spindle Manufacture if adding a Spindle.
Does Onefinity have a forum of fellow Onefinity users?
Yes! You can find knowledgeable, like-minded Onefinity CNC users here.
