Pules XE 3D Printer Features:

PrintDry PRO Filament Drying System
PrintDry PRO Filament Drying System
Quickly and simply store your filament without any hassle. PrintDry is the perfect moisture control solution for filament storage. Adjust temperatures anywhere between 35°C-70°C and feed filament through small openings on the sides of the chamber if you’d like to print while drying. This filament dry container that comes stock with the Pulse XE also has automatic humidity control and can hold up to two standard spools. Accessories are available to upgrade the PrintDry PRO to hold up to 4 spools or a large spool.
Two Spools of 1.75mm NylonX (0.5kg)
Two Spools of 1.75mm NylonX (0.5kg)
Our very own engineering grade nylon filament is blended with chopped carbon fibers (approximately 20% by weight), creating a high-strength filament capable of printing tough, smooth, functional parts. This is the only bundle that comes stock with 2 NylonX spools.
32-Bit Upgrade
32-Bit CPU
Print faster, cleaner, and more accurately. Assembled with stepper drivers for a silent printing experience. This higher-bit CPU allows the printer to utilize more features (independent Z motors, filament runout sensor, printing larger models) without negatively affecting print quality results.
BLTouch Probe
Auto-Mesh Bed Leveling
Pulse utilizes its independent Z motors combined with a genuine BLTouch probe to automatically level the bed before printing for a truly even bottom layer.
Filament Runout Sensor
Filament Runout Sensor
This will alert MatterControl to pause your print session when the spool is out of material, minimizing chances of incomplete prints.
Hi-Res LCD Screen
Hi-Res LCD Screen
Allows for printing tetherless via standard SD card, manually adjusting nozzle and heated bed capabilities, and customizing the backlight color of the LCD screen across the RGB spectrum.
SNAP Quick-Change Tool Head System
SNAP Quick-Change Tool Head System

Slice Engineering Mosquito
Slice Engineering Mosquito Hotend
High-quality hotend specially designed to eliminate heat creep and streamline nozzle changes down to one hand and one tool.
DiamondBack Nozzle Upgrade
ChampionX DiamondBack Nozzle
Designed to reliably withstand the toughest of abrasive filaments for the long haul. DiamondBack has the best thermal conductivity out of most common nozzle types and is made out of the strongest material for a long lifespan.
Bondtech Extruder

A reliable extruder that all but eliminates slipping, deformation, and under-extrusion. Produced by industry leaders over at Bondtech.
Capricorn Tubing XS Tubing
Capricorn - Premium Bowden Tubing
Premium quality Bowden tubing that follows stricter diameter tolerances and is formulated with additional additives that increase lubricity in order to eliminate jams, clogs, and gaps in printing.
LayerLock Garolite Heated Bed
LayerLock Garolite Bed Surface
Garolite is the go-to bed surface to succeed with Nylon, NylonX, and other nylon-based materials that is also capable of printing standard filaments like PLA.
LayerLock MagBase
LayerLock MagBase on Heated Bed
This magnetic base allows for build surfaces on steel plates to be detachable making print removal and build surface interchangeability a whole lot easier and convenient. The max temperature of the heated bed is 120°C.
24V Power Supply
24V Power Supply and Spool Holder
This 24V power supply easily processes any complex tasks so no missteps occur during a print job. Additionally, the spool holder intentionally extends from the power supply so there's a seamless path of filament to the extruder for reliable results.

Questions View All Responses

Can this be applied over PEI? I have an old Prusa Mk3 PEI spring steel sheet with smooth PEI that I would like to use but don't want to remove the PEI film if possible.

View 1 Response

Can you print pla without glue on this surface?

View 1 Response

Not a question: I just wanted to say that this garolite sheet is awesome. I've been printing on PEI exclusively pretty much ever since I got my printer 9 months ago. I recently started printing PETG and decided to see if there was any other build surface that would have the same amount of adhesion without taking a part of the surface with it when I removed the part. This stuff fits the bill perfectly. Just as good adhesion as PEI with an easier ability to remove the part with the plus that the bottom surface is shiny like glass rather than matte like PEI. Stick this onto the bottom of a flexplate and you'll never look back!

Hi what size do I need for my prusa mk3s?

Can an Ultimaker S7 Sheet be added? Or should the S5 details be updated to include the S7? Is it also compatible? Also, it states that glass is required for the thin sheet and not required for the thick sheet. I have a metal flex plate included with the S7, so which would be needed?

Nylon G sticks almost too well. Had to really really fight to get it off. Any suggestions on a release agent? Plain PVA glue?

Is there a worldwide shortage of G10 or something? Many of the ones I want have been out of stock for like a year

Most layerlock garolite surfaces are out of stock with an estimated restock date of January 1. Since it is may 2023, should we expect restocking to occur in January of 2024?

View 1 Response

Will Prusas pinda probe still work with garolite applied?

Add Response

There was an error with the Z access and the nozzle slightly dug into the printbed (Id say maybe .05mm into the bed or pressure on the bed) leaving a trace and a lighter shade/white residue almost on the bed and I fear may be permanent damage any suggestions on restoring/cleaning the bed? (Was printing with PLA Ex-205 Bed-75 )

Any reason why the thick buildplate is not available for the ultimaker s3?

View 1 Response

How thick are the plates?

View 1 Response

Why no buildplate compatible for the Ultimaker S3!? I hope its just out of stock, for now I'm buying the S5 and cutting it on the table saw.

Interested to get the ender 3 version....Does it come with the adhesive on one side? I am looking to just sit it on top of the magnetic part of a pei bed (so that I can switch between the two) so ideally it is without adhesive. also do you have uk stockists?

View 1 Response

Can this be adhered to a Buildtak flexible sheet so it's easy to pop off the bed with the Buildtak system (or similar system)?

How do I remove the LayerLock Garolite Build Surface 9" x 10"?

Add Response

How well does this keep its form? I mean does it warp easily? I bought gasoline just like this from ebay that was half inch thick and that thing worped in the middle like crazy once it got heated.

I have a 12 x 12 magnetic build plate system. One plate is pei and another is build Tak. Do you sell 12 x 12 flexible steel that I can attach this to?

View 1 Response

When applied to the glass, does this material work with Ultimaker S5 auto-leveling or do you have to switch to manual leveling? I intend to have two glass plates to switch between... one with PEI and one with this Garolite but I want to retain auto-leveling if possible, to avoid having to swap between different startup G-code sequences, etc. Thanks!
