Slice Engineering GammaMaster Nozzles
The next evolution in nozzle technology.
The GammaMaster Nozzle represents a major advancement in nozzle technology, utilizing the latest metallurgical and surface preparation technology. Unlike other nozzles, the GammaMaster provides high thermal performance even when printing with abrasive filaments. This revolutionary RepRap nozzle is the first of its kind to be designed specifically for abrasive filament printing without compromising on thermal conductivity.
Here are the Key Features:
- Maintains high thermal conductivity, even when printing with abrasive filaments.
- Utilizes the latest metallurgical and surface preparation technology.
- Designed specifically for abrasive filament printing.
- Suitable for use with RepRap 3D printers.
- Helps to prevent clogging and improves overall printing performance.
Thermal Performance
Crafted from a proprietary hardened alloy, the GammaMaster Nozzle features thermal performance similar to that of a standard brass nozzle while maintaining its abrasive-resistant qualities. GammaMaster is 2.7 times more thermally conductive when compared to hardened steel nozzles, meaning you no longer have to raise your nozzle temperature to print with abrasive filaments.
- Provides greater longevity compared to standard nozzles, reducing the need for frequent replacement.
- High thermal conductivity allows for faster printing times and more precise control over the printing process.
- Helps to prevent blockages and ensures smoother printing of abrasive filaments.
Abrasion Resistant
With a Limited Lifetime Warranty against abrasive wear, the GammaMaster Nozzle will print the entire gamut of thermoplastic materials. From basic PLA to glass fiber reinforced PEI, the GammaMaster Nozzle excels at printing abrasive filaments with a Rockwell C hardness level of 63.
- The GammaMaster Nozzle is made from a proprietary hardened alloy.
- It is highly resistant to abrasive wear and will print the entire gamut of thermoplastic materials.
- It has a Limited Lifetime Warranty against abrasive wear.
Anti-Adhesive Surface
GammaMaster features our new Low Gamma coating that reduces the surface energy of the nozzle and prevents the accumulation of plastic around the nozzle's tip. With a measured surface energy of <30 dynes/cm, the Low Gamma coating allows for easier cleanup, fewer failed prints, and a better printing experience. Unlike PTFE-based coatings, GammaMaster’s surface is rated to high printing temperatures*, allowing you to reap the non-stick benefits with virtually any material.
- Low Gamma coating reduces surface energy and prevents plastic accumulation around the nozzle's tip.
- It has a measured surface energy of <30 dynes/cm.
- It allows for easier cleanup, fewer failed prints, and a better printing experience.
Multiple Geometries
GammaMaster offers four distinct nozzle geometries: RepRap, AP3X, Vase, and FIN. Each geometry is designed to meet specific printing needs, from standard to specialized applications, ensuring optimal performance and precision.
- RepRap: The default nozzle geometry for standard 3D printing tasks.
- AP3X: Features a 2 mm longer tip, ideal for belt printing and non-planar printing applications.
- Vase: Tailored for large layer lines in vase mode, perfect for printed prosthetics and large-scale projects.
- FIN: Innovative design that interlocks with the silicone boot, providing full insulation and protection for the hotend.
Best Warranty In The Business
Slice Engineering is proud to offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty against abrasive wear for the GammaMaster Nozzle. Please note, certain exotic filaments, like Glow-in-the-Dark and Tungsten Carbide filled, are not covered under this warranty. Questions
Hi with the filament sensor can it be programed to go to the next roll and keep on printing ? thanks
Where I work there's a very high requirement for safety. I'm trying to determine what safety features this printer has. Can anyone give me a list of things that this does to make it safe to operate, especially unattended?
Will this ship directly from Matterhackers or from Bambulabs in China?
What supported options are there for printing with soluble support - that isn't PLA + PVA? My print jobs tend to be functional engineering models. PLA is too brittle and temperature sensitive for this. I need a soluble support solution for materials like PETG, ASA, Nylon & PC.
Does the enterprise bundle come with the normal Bambu bundled filaments and spools. I believe it’s a sample of their support filament and a couple others that come with the AMS combo. Plus you’re adding in the bud plate, extra nozzle and three rolls of PLA?
Please provide a quote and order assistance for a Bambu Lab X1-Carbon Combo Bundle (3D Printer) Here's the link: https://www.matterhackers.com/store/l/bambu-lab-x1-carbon-combo-3d-printer/sk/MKHR486R
HMS_0300-0300-0001-0001: The hot end cooling fan speed is too slow or stopped KEEP GETTING THE ABOVE MESSAGE EVEN AFTER REPLACING WITH TWO NEW ONES
What is the correct water soluble material to use for support when printing with PETG? I am cuurently using Aquasys 120 water soluble material for support and it does not adhere. Using your X-1 Carbon printer.
Hello, I am looking at a purchase of either a Bambu lab X1C or X1E. Can you give me a definitive answer please; Can the X1C connect to a LAN and not have to use a memory card or Bambu Cloud service? The reason I ask is because on Bambu website it says about the X1C, " we support SD card and local network to print the projects", but on your page it say No LAN for the X1C. What is a "Kill Switch" please? You have it listed for the X1E. Thank you
Do the MH build and pro spools fit into the AMS safely?
does the hydra come installed when bought as a package?
I purchased the professional bundle which came with 3 rolls of the NylonX filament but I haven't been able to find any recommended settings for using this filament on this printer. Cany you please advise? Thanks
Does abs hydra ams ONLY work for abs or can it do pla and others
I am interested in the Carbon X professional package. Can you confirm what filament spools come with his package?
The Bambu company offers a 14-30 day warranty on their website. What exactly do you cover for a year please.
I am interested in purchasing this printer for my company. I work in an area that does not allow the use of bluetooth or wifi. Do you know if those modules can be disabled on this printer? If so, can it still function through ethernet or USB? Thank you,
Do these bundles include the Engineering Plate? The versions available off the Bambu website seem to have 2 build plates included (Cool Plate and Engineering/Hot Plate). I'm somewhat confused by the apparent differences.
Since the engineering and professional bundles include nylonx, which build surface is used to print that material/does the bundle include the build surface needed to print that material? Reading the description of nylonx: it requires garolite or glass?
What is the "1 x MatterHackers Launchpad (MatterHackers Block)" that is included in the bundles?
Launchpad from what I can tell, is an hour of face to face time over chat with a Matterhackers specialist. Basically if you come up on a problem you can't solve yourself through research or tinkering.
Launchpad is a one-on-one virtual session with one of our engineers. They will go over how to get started with the printer, the ins and outs of the hardware and software, maintenance and materials, and ensure you are successful with your first print.
