*NOTE: Installation of a new thermistor will require selecting the correct sensor in your firmware settings. Some printers may require an update of the RT table in the printer firmware, especially for the 450°C Thermistor. Not all 3D printers allow firmware updates. Please check to ensure your printer will allow firmware updates, otherwise, the thermistor will not work.
The 450°C Thermistor should not be used with printers that use a RAMBo Mini V1.3a or any older version of this board. Common printers with this board include the Prusa MK2.5s, the Prusa MK2.5, the Prusa MK2s, and the Prusa MK2.
Questions
I have a small business where I make barn quilts, yard art, ornaments, and signs. Will this cut out shapes on 1/2" plywood as well as much thinner mdf type woods? Also, does this come with everything I need or will I need to purchase additional equipment?
Can you add a plasma cutter to the shapeoko xxl?
Do you still have financing
Hello I am looking into this machine and have not found answers to these question. How big are the physical Machine specs? I know the XL table is for 33x17.5x4" material but how large is the actual machine as a whole? How loud in Decibels is this machine? Has it been tested? Are we going to have to require safety Headphones for this machine to run? What type of power is required to run this machine? How much will it draw? Will I be able to plug the machine into a wall outlet with the shop vac for clean up and not blow a circuit? Any other safety information or concerns we should have for this machine in a smaller makerspace setting would be very useful. Thank you
Is it possible to use the standard machine, and add the 33" side rails to make a machine capable of 17x49 cutting?
Does the XL have the capability to add a j tech laser?
