Thunk3D Thunk3D Archer W Handheld Scanner

The Archer W from Thunk3D is an industrial-grade, full-color, and texture handheld 3D Scanner. The next step up from the Fisher S & W handheld 3D scanners, Archer was designed to provide highly accurate scans with color and texture data making it ideal for applications such as reverse engineering, including the scanning finished mechanical parts or components, and for creating scans of the human body which require the additional capture data. Utilizing two cameras and a center projector, this scanner can capture over 3,000,000 points per second to create precise 3D models that can be quickly and easily exported as ASC or STL files. Field of view specifications varies slightly between the Standard and Wide models.

THE IDEAL TOOL FOR CREATING PROFESSIONAL FULL-COLOR SCANS:

Capable of producing highly accurate & precise sans, the Archer Handheld scanner is an excellent choice for creating full color and texture scans of targets such as faces, limbs, or objects that have unique surface textures. The full-color data feature also makes it easy to match replicated or reverse engineered parts with the original color values.

SOFTWARE SETTINGS:

Thunk3D includes additional scanning software for both the Fisher and Archer handheld 3D scanners. This software includes built-in presets for projector strength and exposure time to assist users with achieving their specific scanning goals. Features are categorized by the type of scan alignment, desired scan mode, and lighting of the object being scanned.

Alignment types:

Feature:

  • This scanning mode relies on the unique features of the object to create a complete 3D model. Ideal for objects that have a high level of unique surface features.

Mark:

  • This scanning mode relies on reflective markers, which the user applies to the object themselves, to map multiple data points more accurately on said object. This mode results in more precise and professional-looking scans.

What supported options are there for printing with soluble support - that isn't PLA + PVA? My print jobs tend to be functional engineering models. PLA is too brittle and temperature sensitive for this. I need a soluble support solution for materials like PETG, ASA, Nylon & PC.

Does the enterprise bundle come with the normal Bambu bundled filaments and spools. I believe it’s a sample of their support filament and a couple others that come with the AMS combo. Plus you’re adding in the bud plate, extra nozzle and three rolls of PLA?

Hello, I am looking at a purchase of either a Bambu lab X1C or X1E. Can you give me a definitive answer please; Can the X1C connect to a LAN and not have to use a memory card or Bambu Cloud service? The reason I ask is because on Bambu website it says about the X1C, " we support SD card and local network to print the projects", but on your page it say No LAN for the X1C. What is a "Kill Switch" please? You have it listed for the X1E. Thank you

I am interested in purchasing this printer for my company. I work in an area that does not allow the use of bluetooth or wifi. Do you know if those modules can be disabled on this printer? If so, can it still function through ethernet or USB? Thank you,

Do these bundles include the Engineering Plate? The versions available off the Bambu website seem to have 2 build plates included (Cool Plate and Engineering/Hot Plate). I'm somewhat confused by the apparent differences.

Since the engineering and professional bundles include nylonx, which build surface is used to print that material/does the bundle include the build surface needed to print that material? Reading the description of nylonx: it requires garolite or glass?
