COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT VFLEX
Is VFlex A Thermo-set or a Thermo-plastic sheet?
- VFlex sheets are Thermoplastics - they become pliable and formable at 105°C. When reheated again, this material will return back to its original plastic state. Among the available thermoplastic sheets from Vaquform, only HIPS can be pulled back into the original flat sheet form which allows it to be reused. VFlex does not have the same wide elastic window that HIPS thermoforming sheet have, thus, while it does not permanently set in shape, one cannot restore it to its original flat shape using the Vaquform.
Is VFlex ESD-safe?
- VFlex is not ESD-Safe. There is static build-up as a result of the thermoforming process.

Questions
what are the demintions of a sheet of 1.5mm
I’m looking for plastic that is bendable so that I can wrap it around wood logs and fill the voids with epoxy. The easier it is to bend the closer I can keep it to the wood and avoid wasted epoxy. Can you tell me which products would be most suitable for that?
Surface resistivity of this material? ESD safe?
This is supposedly offered in 1.00, 1.50, and 2.00 mm, but I can't tell when adding to my cart which one you are receiving? Also the pack of 20 is cheaper than a pack of 12 or 10, is this because the 20 pack is thinner material? Or are they variety packs?
Is VFLEX a thermo-set or thermo-plastic? (After forming, is it permanently set or can it be reformed?)
