Robust Extruder

The ultra-reliable stainless steel Extruder feeds 1.75mm filament with ease. The Printer is expandable and supports a second extruder, allowing for prints with multiple filament types simultaneously.

Superior Build Surface

The 4mm aluminum frame holds a 215mm x 240mm x 4mm removable glass plate and a Buildtak sheet. This setup allows for a level and solid print bed, combined with the fantastic Buildtak surface. Check out additional BuiltTak sheets or the BuiltTak FlexPlate system as well!

Standalone Printing

An on-board SD memory card reader means you can print without being tethered to a computer. Gone are the days of sacrificing your computer to managing your printer while a 24-hour part is printing. While the Velleman K8400 supports printing over USB 2.0, the included SD card slot allows the user to load print files directly into the machine.
