*Note the image above is for reference only. Placing the Bambu AMS on the left side of the AMS Hub when actually printing is recommended. Otherwise, the filament in the PTFE tube has a higher likelihood of getting stuck.
How Do I Install the Bambu Lab AMS Hub?
- Locate the back of the printer.
- Remove the Filament buffer if present.
- Install the AMS Hub in its place.
- Connect the AMS Hub to the printer using the Bambu 4 Pin cable.
- Use the Bambu 6 Pin cable to connect the AMS Hub to the first AMS.
- Continue to connect the remaining AMS units in series using the 6-pin cable.
- Grab the matching PTFE Tube.
- Connect the AMS Hub and the air tube connector on the printer with the PTFE Tube.
- Position it between the 4-pin plug and the spool holder.
- Determine the appropriate length of the PTFE tube based on the placement of the AMS and printer.
- Connect the AMS and the AMS Hub using the PTFE tube.
- Keep it as short and straight as possible to reduce feeding resistance.

FAQ
What materials are compatible with the Bambu Lab AMS Hub?
It's recommended to only use filament materials that are compatible with the Bambu Lab AMS and Bambu Lab 3D printer you are using.
- Click the links below for the detailed list of compatible and non-compatible materials for the following machines:
How many Bambu Lab AMS Hubs do I need?
You need one Bambu Lab AMS Hub per Bambu Lab 3D printer that will be hooked up to more than one Bambu Lab AMS.
- Example: If you want to hook up between two to four Bambu AMS's to a single Bambu Lab 3D printer, you only need to buy one Bambu Lab AMS Hub. If you have two Bambu Lab 3D printers and both machines will be hooked up to 2+ Bambu Lab AMS units each, then you will need two Bambu Lab AMS Hubs.
HOWEVER, note that you will need to order additional accessories to maximize the Bambu AMS Hub's ability to connect four Bambu AMS units to one 3D printer. One Bambu Bus Cable (6-pin) and one PTFE Tube (2m in length) are needed per printer. Since the Bambu Lab AMS Hub already comes with 2 each of those two accessories, only 2 each of those two additional accessories are needed.
Essentially, if you're looking to connect 4 Bambu AMS units to one AMS Hub you are purchasing, purchase one of the "Connect Four" Packs on this page. See the Included section regarding the difference.
Does the AMS Hub work with the AMS Lite?
No. The AMS Lite is NOT designed to have multiple units connected to a single 3D printer, therefore the AMS Hub is not compatible with nor designed for it—only the AMS.
