*In contrast to Formlabs Dental Resins, BioMed Resins come without specified intended uses. The characteristics of the material can change depending on the design of the part, the manufacturing process, and other techniques used. It falls upon the manufacturer, along with their clients and the final users, to verify the suitability for biocompatibility and functionality of all printed items for their specific needs and applications. Formlabs ensures reliability by conducting tests on biocompatibility and sterilization for typical applications and producing BioMed Resins in an environment certified by ISO 13485. We are prepared to provide examples of customer successes with our products, along with accessible supporting documents.

Easy to Post-Process

Ensure optimal results in post-processing with dedicated steps for washing and curing BioMed resins, adhering to specific conditions to maintain biocompatibility and achieve desired material properties.

  • Washing Process:
    • Duration: 5 minutes in IPA, or until fully clean.
    • Important Guidelines: Ensure cleaning with IPA of 99% concentration or higher. Use a separate IPA bath exclusively for biocompatible resins to prevent contamination from other resin types.

  • Curing Process:
    • Curing Time: 60 minutes.
    • Curing Temperature: Set to 70°C.
    • Additional Notes: Adhere to the specified post-curing guidelines to ensure optimal material properties are achieved.
