What is PLA Filament?
PLA (Polylactic Acid) is a thermoplastic polymer made from renewable resources such as corn starch, sugarcane, or other starch-rich crops. It is commonly used as a 3D printing filament for a variety of reasons, including:
- It's really easy to use
- Low warping
- Environmentally friendly - much more biodegradable when compared to other petroleum-based plastics

Questions
I would like to buy an extra plate for my new Pulse DXE, but in the picture I cannot see the two alignment notches that are on the back of the plate that came with the Pulse DXE. Does this plate have the alignment notches like the plate that came with my Pulse DXE? Thanks! guy.delight@gmail.com
Hi Matterhackers, The Pulse XE by all accounts seems to be quite an exceptional printer. I was wondering if you could verify that the printer bed is made of steel and not aluminum? Do you also know what the flatness tolerance of the bed is designed to (i.e. +/- 0.2mm or less?)
Is this double sided or come without build tak installed? The reason I ask is because I would like a blank steel plate to install a sheet of Garolite the on.
Does it work with Ultimaker 2?
Do you have the flex plate for the PRUSA i3MK3? I think it is 9.5x 10.
Hi..do you have the plate sizedor ender 3? 235x235 i think..
Is this the size for a prusa mk3?
Will this work with a PRUSA MK 4 without any printer adjustments?
