I have the MK3s and was looking into the LayorLock powder coated for my Taulman Bridge. I need to do a lot of printing in the Taulman Bridge but I'm looking for the best way to print it. Is the LayorLock the best solution to release the filament?

This is absolutely PERFECT for my MK3:). Prints like a dream just as my Prusa Textured Sheet. Since it is almost impossible to get another one from Prusa, I will order another one from here:). Shout out to Mara who we met at the RepRap show last week in Goshen, IN.

Wow - very impressed. This works just as well, if not better than the Prusa PEI sheet for my Mk3.

Does the Bambu x1c sized plate have the QR code on it for the automated scan function to work? The picture doesn't show it.

Do any special precautions need to be taken when printing ABS/ASA on this sheet? I've seen reports that these materials can stick *too* well and damage the sheet. Is that a risk here?

We have a 255 x 255 (Geeetech A20M), so this sheet comes close. Our bed isn't magnetic, but couldn't we add some heavy duty magnets underneath? Or is there another sheet you sell that would work?

As soon as this comes back in stock I am going to throw my money at you so hard.

Love the one I have for my original Ender 3 Pro. Will you have one with the alignment notches for the V3 KE coming up?

What is the exact weight of this plate for the Prusa i3 MK3? I want to compare it to the MK4 stock sheet for use with the input shaper.

Add Response

For anyone wondering about purchasing this sheet and then cutting it to your printer's bed dimensions - Yeah, it's... not as easy as you'd think. The spring steel sheet is so resilient that a 20-ton hydraulic shear simply folded it. Options seem to be angle grinder with cutoff wheel, bandsaw or laser cutting. NOTE: I am not advocating this for DIY - cutting spring steel presents a number of significant hazards. Take it to a machine shop if you're similarly adventurous (...foolhardy?).

Will this fit a CR-10 Smart?

I like the 13.78" size for my 350 Voron, but the branding on the plate is a turn off. How easy is it to remove the branding?

I have a creality ender 5 plus which has a 350mm x 350mm bed. List above shows that I should buy a 377mm x 370mm size. Would this not be too big? Also I have stock build plate. Do I need to buy some sort of magnetic base to use this product?

What kind of steel is this? What’s the carbon content?

I'm looking for a PEI for a Sovol SV03 which has a glass bed. If I purchase the 14.8 x 14.5 does it come with the magnetic sticker? If not which one and where do I purchase?

Would the 14.84" x 14.57" (377mm x 370mm) build plate work on a 370mm delta and just let it overhang?

Are both sides of this textured?

Is it possible to get this in a 13" x 13.5"? Daedalus printer has LARGE print bed.

Seems odd you don't carry one that will fit the Ender 3 Pro. I guess I wll have to look elsewhere.

Printing on an MK3, my build plate bulges up in the middle. You can visually see the nozzle pushing the build plate back down. All the outer sides lay flat, this is just in the middle. Not sure if this is because I'm printing in PETG and the high temp is causing the deformation. Maybe this is a defect only in my plate or maybe it is a general design flaw?

This is so GREAT that I gave one to a friend and he loved it. So now, I have placed my order for my 4th one:) as once you print on powder coat sheets by MH or Prusa you will be amazed. Since Prusa is not shipping at the moment, MH is your only SAFE BET:)

300x300? Also, this is 3d printing, get your inches out of my face. Just kidding, you guys rock!

I've used Windex as a release agent on my smooth PEI coated build plates from Prusa. Do I need to follow the same procedure with the Layer-Lock coated build sheets? I find that the smooth coated build sheets release more easily when cooled to room temp. Also, you might want to write "DO NOT BEND" on the shipping envelope as our mailman actually stuffed the plate in our mailbox. Fortunately, coated, spring steel sheets are very flexible. Not damage was incurred.
