Please note:

  • 5 kg / 10 lb spools or larger may have difficulty fitting properly in the PrintDry PRO 3.
  • When loading new 12" diameter spools, consider these tips for the best results:
    • Start at a lower temp: Set the drying temp 10°C lower than the recommended material temp.
    • Normalize temp: After printing 25% of the filament, the temperature can be reset to the recommended temperature for that filament.
    • These steps help reduce the risk of filament over-heating due to its large mass. Gradually increasing temperature allows the spool to evenly dry and maintain its integrity.
