PrintDry PRO 3 - 3D Printing Filament Drying Solution

This PrintDry PRO is the perfect moisture control solution for filament storage. This filament drying container features automatic humidity control that can hold up to two standard spools. This storage provides a quick and simple way to store your filament without any hassle. How does it work? Simply set the desired temperature, put in the filament and the PrintDry will take care of the rest!

Print Straight from the PrintDry PRO 3 Moisture Control Solution

Not only will your filament be kept dry, but also easily accessible via the two small openings on the side of the chamber. This means you don't have to choose between using your filament and drying it - leave it in the PrintDry PRO overnight, then feed the dry material directly from the machine into your 3D printer. With PrintDry PRO, your filament will stay completely dry, easily accessible, perfectly identifiable, (i.e. no need to open every container to find the right kind of filament you are looking for), and ready to be used at anytime you start a print.

PrintDry PRO 3 - The Best Solution for 3D Printing with Hygroscopic Materials

Many advanced materials like NylonX, NylonG, Nylon, PVA, and PETG are incredibly hygroscopic, which means that they can absorb moisture right from the air. When these (or any) material have moisture in them, they do not print well. It's important to take the time to dry your filament to get the best results possible - the PrintDry PRO 3D filament Drying Solution is the easiest way to get the most from your filament.

Please note the following:

  • 10lb spools or larger may have difficulty fitting properly in the PrintDry PRO 3
  • When drying and printing a new 12″ filament spool, please set the temperature 10C lower to start with. After about 25% filament has been printed, then the temperature can be reset to the normal recommended temperature for this filament. This will avoid filament over-heating.

The PrintDry official manufacturer's website shows "Now dry up to 85°C" and now lists an 85°C preset in the description. The description on your product page still only shows up to 75°C. Is the version you're selling here on MH the up to date model with the 85°C capability?

Will this hold 1 or 2 5kg spools? I see it mentions having trouble with 10kg spools. Is the big spool kit needed for 5kg spools?

I have a lot of older filament that I have kept in sealed cases. Even so, it has absorbed moisture over time (years). The description talks about "moisture control solution" and "to store your filament" but NOT drying the filament. Would this item be able to dry filament that has already absorbed water in a day or so?

How does the humidity control specifically work? is there some sort of exhaust fan to prevent condensation buildup? I am looking for a filament dryer that can dry and store nylon and TPU-95 specifically
