Slice Engineering Slice Engineering Filament Drying Desiccant - 2 Pack

The Slice Engineering Filament Drying Desiccant removes moisture from 3D printer filament to reduce issues such as bubbling and delamination. Its activated alumina absorbs water at 10 times the rate of silica gel and reloads in a stainless steel canister that fits inside standard spools.

  • Eliminate moisture-induced print failures and material waste
  • Maintain stable humidity levels inside spool for weeks
  • Extend filament usability with infinite desiccant recharge cycles

Slice Engineering Filament Drying Desiccant

ELIMINATE HUMIDITY BEFORE IT KILLS YOUR PRINTS

The Slice Engineering Filament Drying Desiccant is your go-to solution for moisture-free 3D printing. Featuring highly absorbent activated alumina and a user-friendly design, it prevents issues like bubbling, stringing, and delamination. Enjoy superior results and reliable prints by keeping your filament dry and ensuring optimal storage conditions for an elevated 3D printing experience.

For an unstoppable anti-moisture setup, combine the drying desiccant with a filament dryer.

Key Benefits of Slice Engineering's Filament Drying Desiccant:

  • Activated alumina desiccant is 10x more powerful than comparable silica gel, and is non-toxic!
  • Absorbs both surface moisture and water particles captured inside the filament
  • Stainless steel canister is perfectly sized to fit in the center of your filament spool
  • Desiccant is infinitely rechargeable in the stainless steel container
  • Humidity indicator card included
  • RoHS and REACH compliant
  • USA-Based & Supported

ALUMINA VS. SILICA

Slice Engineering’s Activated Alumina Desiccant offers superior moisture absorption for 3D printing. Unlike silica gel, which absorbs just 2-3%, our non-toxic desiccant can hold up to 20% of its weight in moisture, ensuring your materials stay dry and safe during storage and use.

EFFICIENT DESIGN

Designed for convenience, these desiccant canisters fit snugly in filament spools. Even in small spaces like the Bambu Lab AMS / 2 Pro / HT! When saturated, just bake the canister at 250°C (480°F) for two hours to recharge, keeping your materials dry and ready for use.

MONITORING MADE EASY

Each purchase includes a free humidity indicator card, allowing you to easily monitor storage moisture levels. When the card signals high humidity, simply recharge your desiccant to prevent filament saturation and ensure your 3D printing materials stay in optimal condition.
