As a participant and a member of the advisory board, Steven Jones is one of many inspiring educators taking part in the Make:able Design Challenge that engages students to develop empathy, learn additive manufacturing skills, and gain real-life experience in product development. The goal is to design and make a product or prototype that improves the day-to-day life of someone who struggles with mobility in their hands.
The challenge is open to all students in any country up to the age of 18, and registration is free to access the teacher's pack and challenge toolkit. The deadline to submit your completed project is April 1st, 2021.
