Printing Tips
- Smaller nozzle sizes and lower layer heights are essential to achieving better printing results. Use 0.2mm or 0.4mm nozzle sizes and layer heights between 0.08mm and 0.12mm.
- Store filament in a dry place to prevent moisture absorption to ensure consistent print quality.
- Drying filament ensures consistent print quality. Find filament dryers here.
- In a blast drying oven: 50°C for 8 hrs.
- In an AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT: 55°C for 8 hrs.
- On an X1 printer's heatbed: 60 - 70°C for 12 hrs.
- While printing layers and resolution add a unique character to each lithophane, slight color variations can enhance the distinctiveness of your 3D art.
- Take note of the hexcodes listed above, as this will aid you when setting up your lithophane settings in the Lithophane Maker.
- For optimal bed adhesion, the recommended heated bed temperature is between 45-50°C.
